Full Moon on Chinese New Year : Despite some light haze, I took some shots of the beautiful rock off Earth. They are shot at different exposures, speeds and ISOs. Craters are not so sharp due to the haze. The radiating spot on the white surface towards the North-East is called Tycho/Clavius South located on the Southern Hemisphere. Refer The Lunar Navigator for anatomy of the moon. The full moon falls on the 16th day of the Lunar calendar which is 13th on the Gregorian calendar for February. Check out the calendar reference at Custom Sunrise Sunset Calendar. The last two images in which the Tycho faces the South-West were captured in the morning of the 14th at about 0630 hours.
