A friendly ice-cream seller called an excavator; not much of a choice since pushing will not help for this heavyweight. The ground resisted. The rope snapped when pulled from the front. We were successfully retrieved from the back (no photo available).
We were so delighted and volunteered to hand out a hundred bucks for the extraction. This part of the "deep" puddle is just not for softroaders!
