2018_03_24 Slept Over at Acacia Hill
There is a little, unnamed peak located in Bentong whose height is just 350 metres. As the peak is located a short distance from The Acacia Retreat, a beautiful, getaway resort, and the locals simply call it Acacia Hill.
Trekking begins with a hike along the open, logging trail from The Acacia Retreat (hint: Potentially hot and glaring). The trek takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours per way and much shorter on the way down. Along the way up, midway, one can see Gua Cinta Manis on the South-East.
The barren peak offers a landscape view of East, North and East. On a good day, one can see Genting Highlands with Gunung Rajah nearer on North-West. It is recommended to bring along your favourite binoculars – and view close-up on Bukit Raka (North) and its range.
