Fraser's Hill: The Seven Small Trails of Fraser's Hill
While G7 represents the seven mountains in Peninsular Malaysia whose altitudes are above 7,000 feet, and whose destinations generally require long trekking hours, F7 is rather the opposite, where all the seven trails can be done within just a few hours, all within the vicinity of Fraser's Hill.
There are a total of eight signposted trails in Fraser's Hill -- Pine Tree Trail being the longest and most challenging trail -- it is definitely not rated as a small trail. The other seven (small) trails are:
» Abu Suradi
» Bishop
» Hemmant
» Kindersley
» Mager
» Maxwell
» Rompin
None of them is more than 2 km in distance.
A little 'expedition' was carried out to document the trails, with regards to their GPS tracks and their start/end access points, not their historical backgrounds which are sufficiently documented elsewhere on blogs and Wiki. The document is located at http://www.scribd.com/doc/169976633/Fraser-s-Hill-F7-Small-Trails-Datasheet -- anyone may download it for personal reference.
For those who want to hike them all, here's a challenge -- how do you plot your route(s) so that you will achieve the least distance?!
cheers!
