Moonriver Lodge, an off-the-grid getaway resort
Stayed overnight at this quiet resort during an 'expedition' to sight blooming Rafflesia. It was a success!

On the Gua Musang road, you turn-off at 4.642828N 101.467616E (What3Words: physicists.imbalances.rhythmical). There is an auto-gate. You need to contact them so that someone from inside can come out to open the gate. That said, it is better to make a prior arrangement beforehand. The resort is straight up about 200 metres in. You will not miss it. At this time, the road from the gate till the resort is not tarred but is flat for any car to drive in. Contact details in the photos.
This resort is located at Lojing (Kelantan). Locals also call the place as Sigar Highlands.

I list herewith the pros and cons.
Pros:
- Quiet and relaxing place to unwind
- Beautiful flora
- Cool temperate
Cons:
- No phone signal. To catch that, you have to walk out towards the main road where you turn left into a logging slight uphill road just before the gate. This is the sweet spot for your connection to the world (W3W continues.snippet.unimproved)
- No attached bathrooms
- Mosquitos
